  • 1 cup cooked rice
  • 1/2 cup finely chopped onion

  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon pepper
  • 1/4 cup chopped fresh parsley leaves (divided use)
  • 1 egg
  • 1 head cabbage
  • Cooking spray


For the Tomato Sauce:

  1. Melt the butter in a large pot over medium heat. Add the chopped onion and cook until translucent, about 4-5 minutes. Stir in the minced garlic and cook for an additional 30 seconds.
  2. Add the crushed tomatoes, tomato sauce, salt, and pepper to the pot. Stir well to combine.
