Cinnamon Bread
- Preheat oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit. Grease and flour a loaf pan.
- In a large mixing bowl, combine flour, sugar, baking powder, baking soda, cinnamon, salt, buttermilk, oil, eggs, and vanilla extract. Use an electric mixer to beat the ingredients for 3 minutes until smooth.
- Pour the batter into the prepared loaf pan. Use an offset spatula to smooth the top.
- In a small bowl, combine granulated sugar, cinnamon, and melted butter for the swirl topping. Sprinkle evenly over the batter in the loaf pan.
- Use a knife to lightly swirl the topping into the batter for a marbled effect.
- Bake at 350 degrees Fahrenheit for 50 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center of the loaf comes out clean.
- Cool in the pan for a few minutes before transferring to a wire rack to cool completely before slicing.
