24-year-old dad, whose body is completely covered with more than 200 tattoos, removed them for the sake of his baby daughter, Better sit down before seeing him today

We’ve all done things in our past that we aren’t proud of—made decisions we wish we could undo, and said things we’d prefer to erase. Yet few of us can claim regrets as public and as extensive as those of Ethan “ModBoy” Bramble, an Australian body modification enthusiast who has transformed himself with more than 200 tattoos. In today’s culture, expressing oneself through ink has become almost a fashion statement, with intricate and quirky designs widely embraced. Still, there’s a limit to what most people are willing to permanently etch onto their bodies, and Ethan’s journey has taken him far beyond that boundary.

At just 11 years old, Ethan embarked on his path of self-modification by getting his ears stretched, a decision that marked the beginning of a long series of radical changes. Over the years, he has pushed the envelope with a range of procedures—from splitting his tongue to even removing his belly button. However, it is his tattoos that draw the most attention, covering him from head to toe. According to reports, Ethan has spent approximately 60,000 AUD (roughly 39,000 USD) to achieve his distinctive look. Despite the fascination his body art inspires, he has come to regret some of his earlier decisions.

In a candid interview on LadBibleTV’s No Filter series, Ethan explained that his feelings are more complex than simple regret. “I guess you could say I regret some tattoos,” he admitted, clarifying that his remorse isn’t just about wishing he looked different, but also about the way others perceive him. He expressed concern about the judgment he might face in everyday situations, like taking his young daughter to school. “The face is a big thing that can lead to a lot of problems for yourself, which I probably wouldn’t want my daughter to have to deal with until she was older,” he said. “I wish that I had not gone as hectic as I did on my face.”

Motivated by this realization, Ethan has begun a painful yet determined process of laser surgery, hoping to gradually erase the tattoos he once thought defined him. “I’ve been getting laser treatments for pretty much 12 months now,” he explained. “We do it in sections, and I’ve probably gone over the full area six or seven times. I started getting it done because of the anxiety I was experiencing. A lot of that anxiety came from having a face full of tattoos.” He added that while he is still content with who he is, he is also excited about the transformation ahead. “I’m happy with the way that I look, but I’m also looking forward to the next two years when my face tattoos are going to become less and less. I’m just clearing the canvas.”

It’s inspiring to see someone so courageous and self-aware that he is willing to undertake such a drastic change. Ethan’s journey is not just about altering his appearance, but about reclaiming his sense of self and reducing the burdens of judgment he’s carried for so long. I, for one, am eager to see how he transforms once his face is finally cleared of tattoos. His story is a powerful reminder that while our past choices shape us, we always have the power to redefine our future. What do you think about Ethan’s before and after look?
