Blueberry Biscuits Recipes

  1. Preheat your oven to 450°F (230°C).
  2. In a large bowl, combine flour, baking powder, sugar, and salt.
  3. Add milk and blueberries to the dry ingredients, mixing until just combined.
  4. Grate the frozen butter into the flour mixture using a box grater. Gently mix until butter pieces are evenly distributed throughout the dough.
  5. Turn the dough out onto a floured surface and roll it to a thickness of 1/4 to 1/8 inch.
  6. Use a biscuit cutter to cut out approximately six biscuits from the dough.
  7. Place the biscuits on a baking sheet and bake for 7 to 12 minutes, until golden brown.
  8. While the biscuits are baking, melt 1 tablespoon of butter in the microwave.
  9. In a small bowl, whisk together powdered sugar, water, vanilla extract, lemon juice, and honey to make the glaze.
  10. Once the biscuits are done baking, brush them with melted butter and drizzle with the prepared glaze.
