Creamy Baked Macaroni and Cheese Recipe

  1. Preheat the Oven:
    • Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Cook the Pasta:
    • Cook the elbow macaroni until al dente, then drain well.
  3. Make the Cheese Sauce:
    • In a saucepan over medium heat, combine ½ cup of milk and Velveeta cheese. Stir until completely melted and smooth.
    • Pour the cheese sauce over the cooked macaroni and stir to combine.
  4. Prepare the Mixture:
    • In a mixing bowl, combine the beaten eggs, melted butter, garlic powder, paprika, salt, pepper, and 1 cup of each shredded cheese.
    • Add this mixture to the macaroni and stir until well combined.
  5. Assemble the Dish:
    • Pour the macaroni mixture into a well-greased 9×13-inch baking dish.
    • Top with the remaining 1 cup of shredded cheddar cheese and 1 cup of shredded Monterey Jack cheese.
    • Sprinkle seasoned panko crumbs evenly over the top.
  6. Bake:
    • Bake in the preheated oven for 25 minutes, or until the top is golden and bubbly.
