These are my most popular bars. I usually make at least 500 of these at parties

  • Prepare the Marshmallow Mixture:
    • In a large microwave-safe bowl, combine 2 packages of miniature marshmallows and 2 tablespoons of melted butter.
    • Microwave on high for 1-2 minutes until the marshmallows are soft and puffy.
    • Stir the mixture until smooth and well combined.
  • Melt the White Chocolate:
    • In a separate microwave-safe bowl, melt 2 packages of white chocolate chips in 30-second intervals, stirring between each interval until smooth and creamy.
  • Combine the Ingredients:
    • Pour the melted white chocolate over the marshmallow mixture and stir until evenly combined. The mixture should be thick and sticky.
  • Add the Gumdrop Candy:
    • Gently fold in 1 ½ cups of red and green gumdrops until they are evenly distributed throughout the nougat mixture.
  • Form the Bars:
    • Line a baking dish or tray with parchment paper or aluminum foil, allowing some overhang for easy removal.
    • Transfer the nougat mixture to the prepared dish and press it into an even layer using a spatula or your hands.
  • Chill and Set:
    • Place the baking dish in the refrigerator for at least 1-2 hours, or until the nougat mixture is firm and set.
  • Slice and Serve:
    • Once set, remove the nougat mixture from the refrigerator and use the overhanging parchment paper or foil to lift it out of the dish.
    • Place it on a cutting board and slice it into bars or squares using a sharp knife.
  • Enjoy the Sweet Treats:
    • Serve the Four-Ingredient Nougat Bars on a platter or store them in an airtight container until ready to enjoy. These bars are perfect for snacking, dessert, or gifting to friends and family!
