Controversial Holiday Shirt Sparks Outrage at Target

The T-shirt in question featured the phrase:
“OCD: Obsessive Christmas Disorder.”

Murphy argued that the design was offensive and insensitive, trivializing Obsessive-Compulsive Disorder (OCD), a serious mental health condition. She labeled the product as “wholly inappropriate” and criticized Target for selling it.

Her post quickly gained traction, sparking a heated debate online. While some people agreed with Murphy, believing the shirt mocked mental illness, others dismissed the criticism, saying it was meant to be lighthearted and festive.
