On Her Wedding Day, Bride Walks Down the Aisle and Sees Her Groom Marrying Another Woman

Donna had her sights set on marrying the wealthy Brian at all costs, but when she arrived at the church, she was met with a shocking scene—Brian was marrying someone else.

Donna despised her cousin Gwen. While Donna was undeniably beautiful, her mother had married a poor man, leaving their family struggling. In contrast, Gwen’s mother had married a rich lawyer, giving Gwen a privileged life filled with fancy colleges, designer clothes, and luxury cars.

Despite her envy, Donna masked her disdain. Gwen, kind and generous, believed Donna was her closest friend, often sharing her lavish lifestyle with her. Donna borrowed Gwen’s clothes, attended exclusive parties, and joined luxurious vacations, all thanks to her cousin’s generosity. But Donna’s hidden resentment reached its peak when she decided to steal Gwen’s childhood love, Brian.

Gwen had loved Brian for as long as she could remember. The son of her father’s best friend, Brian had spent years studying medicine in Europe. When he returned, Gwen was ecstatic to see him again, but Donna had other plans.

“Brian is back!” Gwen exclaimed one day, her excitement evident. “He’s coming to the country club dance tonight!”

Donna, rummaging through Gwen’s closet, acted disinterested. “Brian? Who’s he?”

Gwen blushed. “He was my boyfriend when I was 16. We’ve written to each other for years. I love him, and he loves me.”

Feigning support, Donna probed for more information. Gwen, unaware of her cousin’s intentions, eagerly shared every detail about Brian. Donna listened attentively, realizing that Brian was exactly what she wanted—a rich, handsome man with a bright future.

At the dance, Donna made her entrance late, as always, ensuring all eyes were on her. Clad in Gwen’s stunning red dress, she exuded confidence and allure. Spotting Gwen with Brian, Donna swooped in, showering Gwen with faux compliments before whisking Brian onto the dance floor. By the end of the night, Donna and Brian were inseparable, leaving Gwen heartbroken.

Days later, Donna called Gwen, feigning guilt. “I’m sorry, Gwen, but Brian said your relationship was just a childish crush. He’s irresistible, and I couldn’t help myself.” Gwen, devastated, wished them well, hiding her pain.

Over the summer, Donna and Brian became the talk of the town, culminating in their engagement. Gwen tried to remain supportive, even helping Donna pick out a wedding dress. Donna, however, had ulterior motives. She was already scheming with a secret lover, planning to exploit Brian’s wealth.

At the rehearsal dinner, Brian overheard Donna bragging to her lover about her plan to fake a pregnancy and secure a settlement. Shocked and heartbroken, Brian turned to Gwen, admitting, “You were right about her. I’ve been blind, but my heart has always belonged to you.”

The next day, Donna arrived at the church, ready to make her grand entrance, only to find Brian marrying Gwen. Her screams were drowned out by cheers for the newlyweds. Donna lost everything—Brian, Gwen’s friendship, and her access to wealth. Left to fend for herself, Donna learned the hard way that deceit leads to downfall.
