Mounds Poke Cake
Ingredients:

1 box of chocolate cake mix (and the ingredients called for on the box, usually water, oil, and eggs)
1 (14 oz) can of sweetened condensed milk
1 (15 oz) can of coconut cream
1 (7 oz) package of shredded sweetened coconut
1 (12 oz) container of chocolate frosting
Optional: additional shredded coconut or almond slivers for garnish

Instructions:

1. Preheat your oven to the temperature specified on the cake mix box. Typically, this is around 350 degrees Fahrenheit (175 degrees Celsius).
2. Prepare the chocolate cake mix according to package directions. Pour the batter into a greased 9×13 inch casserole dish.
3. Bake the cake for the time specified on the box, usually between 25-35 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
4. While the cake is still warm, poke holes throughout the cake using the handle of a wooden spoon or a similar instrument.
5. In a medium bowl, mix together the sweetened condensed milk and coconut cream. Pour this mixture over the cake, aiming to fill the holes.
6. Allow the cake to cool completely, which will enable it to absorb the milk mixture thoroughly.
