My very first encounter with cinnamon bread was a revelation during a childhood adventure at a rustic countryside inn. I remember the innkeeper, a jovial elderly woman with a twinkle in her eye, inviting me into her quaint kitchen, where the heartwarming magic took place. Cinnamon Bread Recipe
2 cups of all-purpose flour
1 teaspoon of salt
2 teaspoons of baking powder
½ teaspoon of baking soda
1 cup of granulated sugar
2 eggs
1 cup of buttermilk
¼ cup of vegetable oil
1½ teaspoons of ground cinnamon
2 teaspoons of pure vanilla extract
2 tablespoons of granulated sugar
1 teaspoon of ground cinnamon
2 teaspoons of melted unsalted butter


1. Begin by preheating your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 9×5-inch loaf pan and set it aside.
2. In a spacious mixing bowl, combine the all-purpose flour, salt, baking powder, and baking soda thoroughly.
3. In a separate bowl, whisk together the granulated sugar and eggs until they form a creamy consistency. Add the buttermilk, vegetable oil, ground cinnamon, and vanilla extract, and mix thoroughly.
4. Gradually introduce the wet mixture into the dry ingredients, stirring until they just come together. Be cautious not to overmix; a few lumps are acceptable.
5. Pour the batter evenly into the prepared loaf pan.
6. In a small bowl, combine the granulated sugar and ground cinnamon for the topping.
